Shipping

Orders are processed by Lustre Theory within 1–3 business days and standard USPS shipping can take 5-7 business days, or longer depending on the shipping service you select, within the USA after your order is mailed. 

Once an order has been accepted and scanned by the shipping carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to the carrier. Lustre Theory Shop is not responsible for transit delays or packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged while in the carrier’s possession.

If you need an item sooner, please select an expedited, shipping option at checkout.

We recommend choosing UPS or FedEx if you want to ensure the fastest and most reliable delivery.

Silk Ribbon Returns

Please contact us if you experience any issue with your order. We are always happy to review the situation and help where we can.

Our silk ribbons are specialty products that are hand-dyed in small batches, then measured, cut, and spooled specifically for each order. They are not mass-produced, and slight variations in color and tone can occur between dye batches. These subtle differences are a natural part of the hand-dyed process and make each batch unique.

Because ribbon is prepared specifically for each order, we do not accept returns on silk ribbon unless it arrives damaged or we made an error with your order.

Exchanges are accepted. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs associated with an exchange.

If you need to match a specific color, we strongly recommend ordering a ribbon sample before purchasing a larger quantity. We cannot accept returns or exchanges based solely on color preference or normal variation between dye batches. Colors may also appear slightly different in person due to lighting, photography, and differences between screens and devices.

Other Merchandise Returns

Eligible merchandise may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Returned merchandise must be unused, unaltered, and in its original condition and packaging. We cannot accept items that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery.

For acrylic styling blocks, all protective brown paper must remain attached to each block to be eligible for return.

Return requests must be submitted to info@lustretheory.com within 30 days of receiving your order. All returns must be approved before being sent back.
