WHICH SILK RIBBON SHOULD YOU BUY?
With so many ribbon options out there in the world how do you even start slecting the best one for your needs? Silk options are abundant but let's chat a little bit about the differences and how Lustre Theory Silks stand out from the crowd.
HAND DYED RIBBON
There are many ways to hand dye ribbon. Our dyeing process produces a unique look with subtle qualities that cannot be found in traditional ribbon dyeing. This process creates almost zero waste and generates a lasting work of art. This means when you purchase ribbon from Lustre Theory you are getting a unique piece for your styling kit or wedding bouquet.
BIAS CUT RIBBON - WHAT IS IT?
Bias cut silk ribbon is produced by cutting directly from bolts of silk fabric diagonally along the bias. Then it is sewn together with silk thread. The result is a gorgeous draping ribbon made from fine silk. If you are looking for a very romantic high quality silk ribbon this is a wonderful option.
I started offering these acrylic styling blocks for flat lays and product styling projects about a year ago. They compliment what I do as a stylist so well it made sense to offer them as a product! I love using them for my flat lay work, jewelry product styling and so much more!
These blocks can be totally hidden in your invitation flat lay under all the paper pieces if you're a wedding photographer, or like this little product photo shoot they can be part of your props! For these images you can see the photographer used them as key elements for the images to help showcase the products and create more interest and depth in her images.
So who should be using these blocks? Wedding photographers, stylists, product photographers, floral designers, jewelry designers, calligraphy artists... they have so many uses and if you need to create content for social media or amazing product images for your website you should grab a set of my acrylic styling blocks.
